Community Roundup: St. Patrick’s Day Parade + Northeast Regional Library
At Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), our neighborhoods are near and dear to our heart. Here’s a roundup of our latest community activities:
The PFCU team joined thousands of our fellow Philadelphians for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 11! It was an honor to sponsor the Parade in its 248th year and strut along with the Avalon String Band for one of Philly’s favorite festivities. Our green-clad volunteers marched all through the City – from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to City Hall and from City Hall, to Market Street to Penn’s Landing.
On March 27, PFCU’s Erin Ellis, Accredited Financial Counselor, hosted a seminar at the Northeast regional Library to talk about the ins and outs of personal budgeting. The session was open to all Philadelphians, giving them an opportunity to learn and ask about the importance of saving, tracking how money is spent, using tools to create realistic budgets, and more!
PFCU was proud to sponsor the St. Patrick’s Day Parade for its 248th year.
PFCU’s Karen Eavis caught up with Fox29 on the parade route.
PFCU volunteers marched throughout Philadelphia – From John F. Kennedy Boulevard to City Hall and from City Hall, to Market Street to Penn’s Landing – for the celebration.
We love supporting our communities across the greater Philadelphia region. Check out our social pages for upcoming events and to get involved!
