Member to Member Transfer

Members may transfer funds to another member in Teller Net through a Move Money menu or through the Member To Member Transfer option under Move Money on the menu bar. 

The Member to Member transfer:

  • Allows you to save transfer information for future transfers.
  • Integrates into the transfer overlay screen.

  • And automatically validates new recipients, confirming the correct person with the correct account details has been added, greatly reducing the error rate.

What do I need:

  • The member who is transferring the money will need to know the recipients Member Number (Account ID) and Last Name, the share or loan type they will be transferring into as well as the Share or Loan ID.
  • Any account(s) that has access to Teller Net can setup transfers. The receiving account must be open and the receiving share or loan must also be open and capable of receiving deposits (No certificates).
  • The receiving account must be a PFCU account. Members who wish to send to non-PFCU accounts must use POP Money or eTransfer.

To setup a transfer:

  • Select the Member to Member Transfer option from the Move Money Menu, or click on
    + Add recipient
    from any Move money box.

  • Click on + Add recipient from any Move money box.

  • Setup the Recipient information and click on the Add recipient button.

    • Who do you want to add: A description for the Recipient
    • First 3 characters of last name: Enter the first three characters of the Recipient last name, Example: WIL of WILLIAMS. This is used as a validation that the correct member number is entered.
    • Account Type: Type of account being transferred to: Common choices are Regular Share (Savings), Share Draft (Checking), Money Market ,Line of Credit, Loan, and Mortgage Loan.

    • Account ID: The Share or Loan ID. Example: 0002
    • Recipient's ID: The Recipient's Member Number (Account ID).
  • Once the Recipient is setup, it will be available from any Move Money screen.  Click on the To dropdown box and scroll down to the Another member section and select the Recipient.

  • Complete the transfer as normal, by entering an amount and clicking on Make transfer button.

Transfer Recipient can be deleted by:

  • Select the Manage Transfer Recipients option from the Move Money menu.
  • Click on Remove to delete the transfer Recipient.
