Control your debit card even if you don't know where it is.

Online or Mobile Banking tools can prevent unauthorized purchases.

Misplacing your debit card happens to us all. Is it in the house? Did I leave it at the restaurant? Maybe I left it on the train? Well, your worries are over. We offer a service called Card Management. It allows you to temporarily turn your debit card on and off within Online Banking or our mobile app to help prevent unauthorized card transactions.

Simply log in to Online Banking or our Mobile app and tap on More from the main menu and select Card Management to use the convenient service.

Traveling abroad? Here are some card tips.

If you're headed outside the U.S., our Card Management tool will once again come in handy. At the same time, there are some other things you should know about credit cards, debit cards and international travel.

  • There may be restrictions on your debit card when traveling abroad. These could include maximum daily purchase totals or maximum ATM withdrawals. It's important to learn these limits before your trip and plan accordingly.
  • If during your trip you require assistance with your PFCU Debit Card, you can access the international contact numbers for your location.

Did you know when you travel there could be restrictions for your protection when using your debit card? Cardholders may access an ATM for up to $205 or $505 per day depending on your limit. However, restrictions may apply to purchases made with your PFCU Debit Card. Restrictions vary depending on your destination. For example, some ATMs located abroad only allow withdrawals from a checking account. If you only have a PFCU ATM card and a savings account, you will need to open a checking account prior to leaving the country to ensure access to your funds while abroad.

To minimize any other disruptions, please update your account by adding a phone number that you will have access to during your travels.

You can easily set travel notices through our mobile and online banking platforms.

  • If using mobile banking, tap on "More" and then "Card Management".
  • If using online banking, select "eServices" from the menu bar and click on "Card Management".

Select "Set Travel Notice"

  • Complete the fields for Start Date, End Date and the Destination(s).

If you are traveling to multiple destinations during your trip, you can add up to 10 destinations.

We use this information to make sure your cards are not declined while you are traveling. You can set a travel notice for up to one year.
