Our annual scholarship awards $1,000 to four high school seniors who are members in good standing at PFCU.

At PFCU, we’re committed to helping our members thrive. Which is why we created our Scholarship Program in 2004, to help our younger members achieve their educational and life goals.

Want to apply? Here's what you need to be eligible:

  • Be a member of PFCU in good standing
  • Be enrolled as a high school senior at the time of application
  • Appear in person at a predetermined branch to receive documentation and take part in a photo
  • Use scholarship funds for tuition or textbooks only at an accredited education institution

What about the selection process?

Scholarship entry period begins in March of each year. Judging is based on subjective criteria including essays, weighted objective criteria, academic performance, extracurricular and community activities, references and personal goals. Those selected must appear in person to receive their scholarships and take part in a photo. If any winner fails to attend at their predetermined meeting time, another winner will be selected in his or her place.

Employees of PFCU, directors, volunteers and their immediate families are ineligible to participate.
