Moola Moola is a magical monster from the land of Lotta Loot, and is the leader of our Moola Moola Savings Club for Kids! Join him and his friends – Pennyopolp, Nickelodeo, Scratch, Two Bits and Doodadime – as they teach our youngest members the value of saving. The Moola Moola Savings Club for Kids is a savings account just for children 12 years old and under. If a $50 balance is maintained in the account, club members receive:

Features

  • The Custodian is the only person permitted to transact business on the account. He or she is responsible for transferring funds to the minor when the minor reaches age 21.
  • A successor custodian can be named by the Custodian at any time. 
  • The minor’s Social Security number is reported to the Internal Revenue Service. Tax advice should be secured from the IRS by the Custodian prior to opening this account.
  • Dividends on UTMA accounts are considered income to the minor for federal income tax purposes.
