Community Roundup: PFCU “Federal Student Loan Repayment” Webinar

Jan 31, 2022

Student loans impact a large number of people in the U.S. According to the U.S. Department of Education 42.9 million people, or about 1 in 8, have student loans. While federal student loan repayments are paused until May 1, 2022, now is still a great time to explore your repayment options and prepare for when the payment plans start again.

To help our members from being overwhelmed by these payments, PFCU's Erin Ellis led a webinar on Wednesday, January 19th.

Some topics covered during the session were: federal repayment plans, public service loan forgiveness, and loan consolidation.

We appreciate the feedback from our members about what type of personal finances content they enjoy learning about and hope  this webinar provided members with the basics of paying back their student loans. To sign up for upcoming webinars, check out our Events & Classes page.
