On Friday, June 3rd FOX 29's Good Day Philadelphia broadcasted live from West Philly's Cedar Park. The show's regular crew, Alex Holley, Bob Kelly, Sue Serio and Quincy Harris joined the local community for a celebration of all things West Philly. Small business owners and community members in the area shared their love for their neighborhood. PFCU's West Philadelphia branch, located across from Cedar Park at 5000 Baltimore Avenue, joined the party with a table where branch manager Ivana Dussell passed out PFCU swag to neighbors. Despite the gloomy weather, the Good Morning Philadelphia team, PFCU, and the West Philly community enjoyed music, food, and a celebration of their borough.

On Thursday, June 23rd PFCU teamed up with the Business Association of Mt. Airy to host a small business networking event at Alma Mater on Germantown Avenue. Over 20 attendees gathered around picnic tables in Alma Mater's new beer garden where they discussed business related goals, challenges and accomplishments. Designed as a "speed networking" event, attendees were paired up for quick four minute chats before a bell chimed to alert participants to rotate to the next place setting.
After two hours of conversation, the event concluded with a raffle where one guest won a $100 Visa gift card on behalf of PFCU.
Mt. Airy business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs joined together to share insight on business-related and personal accomplishments, challenges, and goals at PFCU's speed networking event.
