Community Roundup: Facebook Giving Campaign + St. Ignatius Nursing Home + Gaudenzia’s House of Passage
At Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), our neighborhoods are near and dear to our heart. Here’s a roundup of our latest community activities:
To spread holiday cheer, PFCU kicked off a Facebook giving campaign on #GivingTuesday. Facebook fans can vote by using emojis to help PFCU distribute $5,000 among four deserving local nonprofits: Lutheran Settlement House, Gaudenzia’s House of Passage, SpArc Services and Congreso. Each vote contributes a $5 donation to the chosen organization. There’s still time to make your vote count! Voting will run until Jan. 1 or until $5,000 is raised.
Vote today to help PFCU raise money for Lutheran Settlement House, Gaudenzia’s House of Passage, SpArc Services and Congreso.
On Thursday, Dec. 7, PFCU employees dropped off 175 cozy fleece throw blankets as holiday gifts for the residents of St. Ignatius Nursing Home. We love spreading joy to members of the community, especially during the holiday season!

The holiday season is all about giving! On Wednesday, Dec. 20, PFCU provided personalized gifts to the 175 women of Gaudenzia’s House of Passage, a shelter for homeless women. Every gift, whether it was perfume or a winter hat and scarf, touched the hearts of each individual.
