May 24, 2019

At Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), our neighborhoods are near and dear to our heart. Here’s a roundup of our latest community activities:

From Sunday, April 7 through Saturday, April 13, Episcopal Community Services (ECS) celebrated National Volunteer Week by organizing a variety of events and activities for its volunteers. Erin Ellis, Accredited Financial Counselor at PFCU, was recognized by ECS during the week for her work with their organization.

On April 27, PFCU and Gaudenzia House of Passage teamed up for a fundraising scavenger hunt organized by DePaul House, a nonprofit that aims to reconnect homeless men to the workforce, help them to budget and save their income and move to their own homes within one year. The event sent Erin Ellis, Accredited Financial Counselor at PFCU, and her teammates on a quest throughout the city to benefit Philadelphia’s homeless population.
