Community Roundup: Center City and Mount Airy Pop-Up Barbecues
At Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), our neighborhoods are near and dear to our heart. Here's a roundup of our latest community activities:
PFCU kicked off its series of summer Pop-Up Barbecues on July 19 at the 1206 Chestnut Street branch. The team handed out free pretzel dogs, chips, and water as a way to say "thank you" to members and neighbors. Over 250 people stopped by for a free bite to eat and some PFCU swag. The team also handed out information about PFCU's Member Referral Program. The Member Referral Program is a way to reward existing members who love PFCU. When a member refers a friend or family member to PFCU and they sign up for a qualifying service, both the existing member and the new member will receive $25.00 from PFCU. A Member Referral Coupon can be downloaded here. Or catch us at the next Pop-Up Barbecue in West Philly in September to sign up on-site.
PFCU team members handed out 250 free lunches as a token of gratitude for our members and neighbors on Tuesday, July 19, in front of the 1206 Chestnut Street branch.
The second Pop-Up Barbecue took place at PFCU's branch in Mount Airy on Aug. 16. PFCU handed out free food and plenty of water on a hot afternoon. Over 150 members and neighbors in Mount Airy stopped by the table to say hi, grab a bite to eat, and take home some PFCU shades to protect their eyes from the sun.
Over 150 people stopped by PFCU's table in front of the Mount Airy branch for a free lunch on Aug. 16.
PFCU loves interacting with the community members in each neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello in Center City and Mount Airy. The next Pop-Up Barbecue will be Sept. 8 at the West Philadelphia branch at 5000 Baltimore Ave. Come over between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a free lunch from PFCU.
