Temple University Students: Want a shot at winning $10000

Jan 8, 2015

Philadelphia Federal Credit Union is giving Temple University students a shot at winning $10,000! One lucky student will be selected to take a half-court shot during the game at the Temple University Men’s Basketball Game on Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m. If the student makes the half-court shot, they’ll be awarded $10,000!

This special promotion is part of the credit union’s annual PFCU Day at Temple University celebration. Entry is simple. If you’re a Temple University student interested in entering the contest, follow these steps:

  1. Open a PFCU Checking Account between January 1, 2014 and February 7, 2015.
  2. Fill out the short entry form.
  3. Share your custom-generated link given to you after you submit your entry form with your fellow Temple University students. For every student you invite to enter who submits an entry, you’ll be granted one additional entry.

The entry period is January 8-February 7.

PFCU will randomly select three finalists from a list of names of students who have opened accounts during the promotional period and finalists will be notified in advance to attend the game. PFCU will then randomly draw one name to be the contestant to attempt to take a half-court shot on February 14, 2015, during the game.

All students, fans, and PFCU members are encouraged to come out to support the Temple Owls Men’s Basketball Team as they face the East Carolina Pirates at the Liacouras Center on Temple University’s campus and see the selected student take their shot at winning $10,000.
