Community Roundup: Bike MS: Erin E. Wilson Young Women Luncheon, Philadelphia Job Corps Science Institute and Community Ties Giving Campaign
At Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), our neighborhoods are near and dear to our heart. Here’s a roundup of our latest community activities:
On November 4, PFCU’s Accredited Financial Counselor Erin Ellis presented a financial seminar during the Erin E. Wilson Young Women’s Luncheon at Temple University for middle to high school girls (12-18 years old). The event focused on empowering, encouraging and enlightening girls to continue their development into successful independent women.

In November, Erin Ellis provided several financial sessions to students at Philadelphia Job Corps Life Science Institute. The program provides on-the-job training and helps individuals find the career that’s right for them. We’re proud to partner with the organization throughout the year to offer tips about building a brighter financial future.

In celebration of Giving Tuesday, we launched our annual community giving campaign on November 27. The campaign encourages people to vote for one of three local nonprofit organizations: Depaul USA, Haven Women’s House and Make the World Better. Each vote earns a $5 donation from PFCU. Check out our Community Ties Giving Campaign and cast your vote before January 1!

Help PFCU give back this holiday season by voting for a local nonprofit that deserves our support.
We love supporting our communities across the greater Philadelphia region. Check out our social pages for upcoming events and to get involved!
