6 ABC Action News: PFCU Surprises Back-to-Savings Art Contest Winner and Entire Class with Prizes
On Tuesday, December 3, Philadelphia Federal Credit Union surprised one of the winners of our 2nd Annual Back-to-Savings Art Contest designed to teach Philadelphia-area 3rd, 4th and 5th graders the importance of starting to save money at an early age. One of the winners, Jason Chen, a fourth grader at Blessed Trinity Regional Catholic School in Northeast Philadelphia, received school supplies for his entire classroom ($250 value) along with a personal $100 savings account. Our mascot, Moola Moola and Financial Educator, Dominique Jenkins were on hand to deliver the prizes and talk to Jason and his classmates about good financial habits.
