• What is eTransfer?

  It is a service that will allow members to transfer funds between their PFCU account and their account at other financial institutions via ACH.

• How does a member sign up for the eTransfer service?

  A member will go to pfcu.com, logon to Teller Net, and click an eTransfer link. A member first completes the account verification process which confirms he/she owns the designated account at the other financial institution. Then the member can make eTransfers.

• Will any special fees be charged for an eTransfer?

  Yes.

• How do I cancel by PFCU eTransfer service?

  See the Unsubscribe button in eTransfer. You can remove accounts or unsubscribe from the service.

• How do we verify the member owns the account at the other F.I.?

  Accounts are verified through a process called "Trial Deposits" where two small transactions will post to the member's account at the other financial institution. Once the member sees these transactions post, they can log back into Teller Net and into the service to confirm the amounts of those transactions. Once they have successfully confirmed them, they can set up transfers. The member has 45 days to verify a deposit.

• Do I need an e-mail address?

  Yes. Your e-mail address must be verified. This is done when you log onto the service. After you provide your e-mail, you'll be sent a confirmation code to the e-mail address you provided. Use this code to complete the verification process.

• How will PFCU eTransfer transactions post to my account?

  Payments scheduled in PFCU's ETRANSFER will be shown as a deposit or withdrawal from your account via ACH. ACH Withdrawals will show a fee and an ID number. ACH Deposits will show an ETRANSFER description.

• For what frequency can a member set up eTransfers?

  A member can set up a "one time" eTransfer or recurring eTransfers.

• How soon after an eTransfer is originated will funds be debited from or credited to the member’s account?

  Typically 3 business days.

• How secure is my eTransfer and personal information?

  PFCU eTransfer uses several methods to ensure that your information is secure.

  User Name and Password: Your user name and password are unique identifiers that only you know. As long as you don't share your user name and password with anyone, no one can sign in to PFCU eTransfer as you.

  SSL: PFCU eTransfer uses SSL (secure sockets layer), which encrypts your connection. PFCU uses 128-bit or 256-bit encryption (whichever your browser supports) to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet

  Automatic Sign Out: In addition, PFCU eTransfer automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for a predefined number of minutes (usually ten minutes). It is best if you sign out immediately after you are finished using PFCU eTransfer.

• When I click the eTransfer link, nothing happens?

  PFCU Teller Net requires that you have your popup blocker disabled while using Teller Net. Please ensure your popup blocker is disabled and attempt to try again. Should you continue to experience an issue please contact Member Service.
